I was living in Miami. Little Haiti to be exact.
I had my Art Studio in Wynwood.
I would work on my art and music until 4-5 AM then walk back home in filthy streets.
People told me not to do it due to the crime rate of the area, but people always live in fear, which is why they attract it.
I was always in so-called dangerous areas since I was young, I actually love the hood.
I walk down streets filled with gang bangaz that have never seen me before and all start starring at me until I look back and we all connect on the same level. Those are my people.
Life to me is about connecting with whoever is real.
I connect more with them then all the fake people is middle class society.
The hood is where the truth is.
In any case, I just release what was on my mind in that moment, which is always how my songs go.
I could have a totally different perspective the next day due to consciousness expansion.
